Welcome back to *The Reclaim Strategy*! In this blog, we’re diving into the latest episode of *The Reclaim Podcast, Shattered to Unbreakable,* where I had the absolute pleasure of chatting with my good friend, Heather Ebersole. Heather is an Allstate agent, a powerhouse businesswoman, and someone I had the honor of meeting at the life-changing Warrior Woman Retreat. Let’s just say, it was an experience that neither of us expected—and it changed everything.
Finding the Warrior Within
Heather and I both came into the retreat feeling like we had achieved so much already. We’d checked off major goals and were living the kind of lives we’d dreamed about a decade ago. But we both knew there was more—a next level we wanted to reach. That’s what brought us to the Warrior Woman Retreat, a program designed to break through limiting beliefs and help you up-level in all areas of life: body, being, balance, and business.
For Heather, the journey began with a nudge from her business coach, who promised that the in-person experience would be worth the time and investment. She took the leap, booking her spot without knowing exactly what to expect—and boy, was it worth it.
Vulnerability Is the Key to Transformation
One of the most impactful aspects of the retreat was the emphasis on vulnerability. Heather shared how she made a conscious decision to show up fully, to speak up when others stayed quiet, and to lean into moments of discomfort. She wanted to grow, and she knew that required stepping outside of her comfort zone.
For me, the experience was humbling in a different way. I’d come into the retreat thinking it was going to be all about me—a chance to be selfish and focus on my growth. But instead, the resounding message I received was, “This isn’t for you.” It was about listening, learning from others, and seeing how I could use what I gained to serve the people around me. It was a shift I didn’t know I needed.
The Power of Meditation and Mindset Shifts
The Warrior Woman Retreat introduced us to tools we hadn’t used before, like guided meditations. Heather shared how the first meditation session left her feeling like she was playing catch-up. But by the second day, she experienced a breakthrough. Suddenly, she was a step ahead, intuitively moving through the exercise before the instructions were even given. Her biggest takeaway? The realization that she already knew what to do—she just needed to trust herself.
For me, the concept of “facts versus truth” was a game-changer. I’d spent so much time telling myself stories about my life, only to realize many of them weren’t serving me. The retreat pushed me to separate the facts (what actually happened) from my truth (how I interpreted those facts) and rewrite the narratives that were holding me back.
Lessons That Stick
The Warrior Woman Retreat wasn’t just a one-and-done event. It’s a continuous journey that requires accountability, community, and intentionality. Heather has taken these lessons to heart, implementing practices like “Wellness Wednesdays” with her team to focus on body, being, balance, and business. She’s also felt a calling to help other women find structure and support in their lives—a purpose she’s embracing wholeheartedly.
As for me, the retreat was a powerful reminder of why I started *The Reclaim Strategy* in the first place. It validated so much of the work I’ve done over the years and reignited my passion for helping others reclaim their power and purpose. It also reminded me that the fruit of our labor isn’t meant for us—it’s meant to nourish others. Our growth, our breakthroughs, and our lessons are gifts we’re meant to share.
Moving Forward
If there’s one message I want to leave you with, it’s this: growth happens when you lean into the uncomfortable, embrace vulnerability, and commit to showing up for yourself and others. The Warrior Woman Retreat taught us that we’re never truly done growing, and that’s the beauty of the journey.
If you’re ready to take your next step, whether it’s through journaling, joining a supportive community, or attending a life-changing retreat, I encourage you to take the leap. Trust me—the best version of you is waiting on the other side.
Thanks for reading, and as always, stay sparkly.
